Graham Andrews
Breakaway Blues Show
Graham closes out Sunday night with the Breakaway Blues Show, featuring the finest blues music from legendary artists and hidden gems.
Graham's interest in music goes back to his schooldays when he learned to play drums and guitar, and began playing with other young musicians – mostly Shadows covers! Throughout his years at Southampton Art College studying graphic design, he played with a local rhythm and blues band and his claim to fame was supporting Manfred Mann at two local gigs. After playing in several rock covers bands over the years, he has recently put together a blues band with a new line-up.
A lover of blues since his teens, he has a pretty in-depth knowledge of blues music which he loves to share. Now retired, but having worked in the advertising industry since the late sixties, he has developed a keen interest in the broadcast media – radio in particular. His first taste of radio came in 2017 when his band at the time, "Strange Brew", was booked to play live at a local community radio festival. After the gig the Station Manager informed him that he was looking for new presenters, and gave him the opportunity of presenting a weekly blues show. And the rest is history...

No stranger to the sound of her own voice, Hannah can often be found on the stage with Haddenham Players, behind the scenes of the Haddenham Youth Theatre and even singing round the campfire with the third Haddenham Brownies.

Hi, I'm Juanita!
Born in Scotland, raised in England since age 12, and now happily based in Haddenham (with a few exciting detours along the way—including five years at the British Embassy in Washington). I've always loved working with people—most recently in alumni relations at an Oxford college—and then running a charity for orphans in Eswatini, but I'm also known for bashing out bongo beats, starting a fudge business, and even writing a book!
I'd never imagined being a radio presenter—ever. I only volunteered to help with some admin, secretly hoping for an invite to the Red Kite Christmas Party… and look what happened!
Now I'm bringing my energy to local radio.
Where did I get my name? That's a fun story involving a Chinese neighbour of my parents in Canada—but the real question is: what's next? For me, it's all about saying "Why ever not?"
Simon Jobling
The 70s Rewind
Simon guides you through the golden era of the 70s every Monday evening, featuring the decade's biggest hits and hidden gems.
Simon is a relative newbie in the area as he only moved to Long Crendon (from Chalfont St Peter) in Summer 2016. Simon spent the last 5 months of 2019 travelling in Canada, S. America, Australasia and Asia and since returning in December, has been looking for some new things to do in between all the 5 a side football and tennis he tries to play.
One of his new ventures is working with the news and weather team at Red Kite, having never done any radio work before but very keen to help out. His mates say his musical tastes are stuck in the past, as he does love both 70s disco and 80s synth/electro music, and if he gets the opportunity to strut his stuff, he will be out there Dad dancing with the best of them. But he also claims to listen to current bands and artists and likes going to gigs.

I am proud to have managed the tiny FNH Charity shop in Haddenham, where we would listen to RKR and then meeting Howard Bond in 2019 interviewing me in between customers and donations. Two weeks later I became part of the team! Having grown up in Watford I share memories of football, Elton John, George Michael and Gerry Halliwell who used to visit my local gym. And of course good old Baileys Night Club where many famous groups appeared whilst enjoying chicken in a basket. Greg Edwards was a regular guest spinning some soulful sounds in a local Hall on a Saturday

Sunday Rocks!
Clive brings you rock classics and anthems every Sunday evening from 7-10pm with Sunday Rocks!, featuring the best in rock music to close out your weekend.
Like many others, I will listen to all genres of music, but it is Blues/Rock that I am drawn to...
I have been the lead guitarist for many rock bands over several decades, playing classic covers from Bad Company, Bruce Springsteen, Thin Lizzy etc. I have also been in bands that have written their own material and have penned a few songs myself..!
My (almost) claim to fame, was when I was in a band called The Movie Stars, in the early 80's. (We were often compared to Aylesbury based band Marillion at the time). We went on to record an album for Polygram and on the back of that, we were invited to record a session for the Tommy Vance Friday Rock Show on Radio 1, at the BBC Maida Vale Studios. We recorded four tracks that were aired in mid 1982. Tommy Vance liked the session so much, that he repeated it again at the end of the year along with hard-rock band Saxon.
Moving forward, I stopped gigging in 2015, but still get together with a singer and bass player friend of mine. We regularly get together, running through some songs at my house, then finally with our drummer at his place. We then perform them very occasionally at the Arts4Everyone Centre in Wycombe Arts Centre, where they have a monthly Sunday Jam.

She has always loved music and the radio from a very early age, and had her own record player and record collection from the age of 5. She loves checking out the record collections of anyone she meets and is always tuned into the radio at home, in the car or even in the bath! She loves pop quizzes and any music related competitions.
